The CAVMS Youth Orchestra has a long-standing link with Glenbrook High School, in the leafy suburbs of Chicago only a train ride away from the exciting metropolis with all its fantastic jazz and orchestral venues.

The friendship was formed in 2002 during CAVMS' first trip to the USA and has since been consolidated immensely by their reciprocal visit in 2003.

The relationship now goes far beyond musical and cultural links as lifetime friendships have been forged between both students and staff.

This exchange enables students to sample a whole range of experiences that may be just off the usual tourist map and to stay with American families in their homes.
