The CAVMS Orchestra, conducted by Brian Weir
This is the senior and touring Orchestra, playing a great mix of classical and popular repertoire. They have visited the U.S.A. and Ireland with further trips always being planned. Auditions are held throughout the year and the minimum standard Grade IV for Strings, Grade V for Brass, Woodwind and Percussion.

CAVMS Wind band, conducted by Max Joseph

The wind band has a similar development role in the CAVMS ensembles as the "Only Strings Aloud" group. The huge repertoire of contemporary music available means that all brass, woodwind, and percussion players up to Grade V can really flourish as they develop skills ready for the Senior Orchestra.

Only Stings Aloud, conducted by Marisa Wall

An ideal ensemble for the developing String player, Only Strings Aloud prepares students for the CAVMS Orchestra by introducing ensemble playing, developing listening and having fun at the same time. Open to all string players from beginners (open strings) up to grade 4.
